Le Pierre Caterers: “A Taste of Elegance” Tasting at Camden County Boathouse

Last week Kyo and I attended the Taste of Elegance tasting event hosted by Le Pierre Caterers at the Camden County Boathouse in Pennsauken, New Jersey. Le Pierre Caterers was recently named one of the top five best caterers in the Philadelphia area by the Philly Hotlist (for the fourth time in a row, I believe!) Chef Lucmann Pierre’s food was exquisite — I am impatiently awaiting the publication of his cookbook so I can get his silky, divine butternut squash soup recipe. We also have to give a shout-out to the beautiful decor by Phillis Jablonowski of Eventricity: deep red, oranges and yellow flowers that popped against the navy blue linens, and homey Bosc pears set on top of the gold-rimmed china.

We had a fabulous time mingling with the guests and enjoying the view of the sun setting over the Cooper River. Thank you to everybody for the warm and lively conversations.

Say Yes to the Best bridal event at The Castle at Skylands Manor

Last Wednesday evening we exhibited at the Say Yes to the Best bridal event, which took place at a particularly dramatic venue, The Castle at Skylands Manor. Located in Ringwood, NJ, a hamlet in northwest Jersey close to the border with New York state, the manor is an old country house perched literally on top of a mountain, with rolling acres of gardens framed by forests and a sweeping view of the horizon. Frungillo Caterers operates The Castle with their usual aplomb; guests at last week’s bridal event enjoyed delicious passed hors d’oeurves and champagne as they explored the many hidden corners of the sprawling mansion.
